The birthplace of amberjack farming is Nomi Bay in Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture.

The Susaki amberjack produced using this excellent technique and environment has sweet fat, and the flavor spreads instantly in your mouth.

On the day of shipment, the amberjack is chilled using our unique "Onijime" method and treated with rib water, and can be eaten immediately after arrival or left to age.

It is perfect for any dish, from sashimi to other dishes.

  • Nomi Bay, the birthplace of amberjack farming

Nomi Bay, said to be the birthplace of amberjack farming, is blessed with a rare rias topography along the Tosa Bay coast, and is one of Kochi Prefecture's leading farming production areas. As an inlet, it is a quiet bay that is less affected by the open ocean, but because a branch of the Kuroshio Current flows nearby, it is an extremely warm area of water suitable for the growth of fish for most of the year.
